DESCRIPTION
Blending fearless attitude with full-throttle performance, the Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS02T chambered electric guitar is a high-octane ode to the iconoclastic café racer culture of the 1960s. Beneath its sleek retro-chic aesthetic lies a chambered mahogany body topped with maple for lively resonance with a lightweight feel, shaped by Yamaha's Acoustic Design process to optimize internal chambering for maximum resonance and balance.
The three-piece mahogany neck is reinforced with carbon fiber for exceptional stability, and its satin finish feels smooth and fast under your fingers. A rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius, pearloid line inlays and 22 jumbo stainless steel frets rounds out a neck that handles expressive bends and complex chord work with equal ease.
Dual P90-style single-coils cover a wide tonal palette, from chiming cleans to growling overdrive. A five-way blade switch opens up unique phase combinations in positions 2 and 4 for airy, articulate tones, while the push/pull Focus Switch works as a passive boost that tightens lows and mids for a more aggressive, overwound character.
Vintage-inspired hardware finishes the package: a Tune-o-matic bridge for stable intonation and solid sustain, a custom racing-inspired tailpiece that nods to the model's café racer heritage, and die-cast tuners. The gloss body finish contrasts with the satin neck, and Yamaha's signature hanko stamp on the back of the headstock marks each Revstar as built with pride and precision. A deluxe gig bag is included.
