DESCRIPTION
The Yamaha DTX6K5-M is a highly expressive and versatile electronic drum kit designed to grow with you.
Featuring large 2-ply mesh pads, a flexible rack system, and a 12" 3-zone mesh snare pad with acoustic-style lugs, it offers an authentic playing experience that mimics acoustic drums. The included Yamaha hi-hat stand and 15" ride cymbal with positional sensing enhance realism, while all cymbals feature multi-zone triggering and choke capability. At its core is the DTX-PRO module, loaded with professionally recorded drum sounds from world-class studios, along with integrated training tools and app compatibility to support both practice and performance.
Drummers can shape their sound instantly using Yamaha’s KIT MODIFIER knobs—AMBIENCE, COMP, and EFFECT—making it easy to dial in studio-quality tones. Firmware V2.00 adds even more realism through adjustable shell resonance and snare bleed effects. The DTX-PRO also includes 10 advanced training functions like Rhythm Gate and Measure Break, helping players build timing, accuracy, and musicality. Paired with downloadable sheet music for 30+ built-in songs, the DTX6K5-M delivers a complete package for drummers of any level.
