DESCRIPTION

The H. N. White King Master Model Cornet remains one of the most admired American brass instruments, prized by collectors and professional players alike. With its brush silver body and contrasting brass bell, this instrument embodies both visual elegance and exceptional sound.

Renowned for producing a round, resonant tone, the King Master Model combines velvet warmth with brilliant projection, ensuring versatility for both solo and ensemble settings. The brass bell contributes richness and warmth, while the silver-plated body adds clarity and precision.
This particular example, bearing serial number 2938XX, represents the enduring legacy of H. N. White’s craftsmanship.

Made in the USA approximately 1947-1948, the Cornet has truly endured the test of time. The Matte Silver-Plate finish is nearly completely intact and it features a brass bell. Though there are a few minor pings, the instrument has no dents or dings. A few feather scratches exist on the body of the Cornet, but that is to be expected.

Our technician has adjusted the instrument to General Playing Conditions and it has been polished. This Cornet comes with a Non-Original Hard Case and Bach 10 ¾ Mouthpiece. Its combination of artistry, durability, and tonal character makes it a highly desirable cornet for performers and collectors seeking a truly special instrument.
