DESCRIPTION
The Bundy III Student B♭ Trumpet is a modern, beginner-friendly horn produced under the historic Bundy brand name by Conn-Selmer. Unlike earlier Bundy instruments built in Elkhart, Indiana, later Bundy III instruments were produced in China, primarily during the late 2000s and 2010s. Its design is closely associated with the educational trumpet format popularized by instruments such as the Bach TR-300.
Built around a medium-large .460" bore with a yellow brass body and clear lacquer finish, the Bundy III offers the traditional trumpet layout students encounter in formal band instruction. Nickel-plated valves are designed for durability and smooth operation, while student-oriented touches like a first-valve thumb saddle and an adjustable third-valve slide ring help younger players find a comfortable, controlled hand position.
