DESCRIPTION

From its Flat Black finish to the deep black interior of the shell, the TAMA Starclassic Performer Blacked Out Black Edition snare drum takes the series in a distinctly monochromatic direction. This limited 14 x 6.5 in. snare pairs a 6 mm hybrid shell of 4-ply birch and 2 inner plies of maple with rounded 45-degree bearing edges and die-cast hoops.

At the core of the drum is Starclassic Performer hybrid-shell construction. The 6 mm shell brings birch and maple together in a 6-ply design, with rounded 45-degree bearing edges defining the contact point between shell and heads. Die-cast hoops provide a substantial hardware complement, and the 14 x 6.5 in. format keeps everything in a familiar, versatile size.

The Blacked Out concept carries across virtually every visible element. Matte black hardware, including 10 MSL-SCTMB lugs and an MLS30AMB throw-off, extends the treatment around the drum, while the included EVANS Black Chrome head completes the coordinated look. Offered as a standalone companion to the matching Blacked Out Black Edition kit, it's one of the series' most visually distinctive treatments.
