DESCRIPTION

Stringjoy Flyers are a new standard for old-school tone. Through years of obsessive design and meticulous real-world testing, Stringjoy dialed in a flatwound that keeps everything players love about the format — that smooth feel and warm, round voice — while adding the clarity, balance, and versatility flatwounds are often missing.

Jazz, rock, indie, clean, driven, traditional, or totally out there: Flyers have a full, articulate voice that makes it all fair game. They feel fast under your fingers, sit perfectly in a mix, and respond evenly from string to string, thanks to Stringjoy's tried-and-true approach to balanced tension.

This Balanced Medium set runs .011 - .014 - .020w - .028 - .038 - .050, a familiar gauge for players who want a little more under the fingers without jumping to a full heavy set. Flyers are available in four sets in total, including a purist-preferred 12-52 and a shredder-friendly 9-42.

Like every Stringjoy set, Flyers are wound, inspected, and packaged in Nashville by guitar-loving string techs dedicated to making the finest strings possible. If you're after old-school tone without compromise, give Flyers a look.
