DESCRIPTION
The Ludwig LM2477RBR Student Snare Drum Kit is an all-in-one percussion package built specifically for beginning and developing students. Between school band, private instruction, and home practice, it covers everything a young percussionist needs to start building proper snare technique.
At the center of the kit is a 5" x 14" chrome-plated metal snare drum — an appropriately sized, responsive instrument for learning foundational snare drum work. Around it, Ludwig includes the LC621SS Classic single-braced adjustable snare stand, an L381 rubber practice pad, a pair of 2B drumsticks, and a standard drum key, so there's no need to shop for the basic components piece by piece.
Transport is handled by a heavy-duty padded nylon rolling bag with a distinctive black-and-red design, durable rubber wheels, a telescoping pull handle, and multiple storage compartments to keep the drum and accessories organized and protected. The practice pad sits directly on the snare head, letting students drill rudiments, sticking patterns, and rhythm exercises at a much lower volume.
Please note: this is a used unit showing minor wear. The snare drum head shows some signs of usage but is in playing condition, and the metal shell has minor feather scratches while remaining fully intact and completely functional. The rubber practice pad shows more obvious discoloration from use, the snare stand is in good condition with no apparent scratches or dents, and the drumsticks show the most visible usage but are fully functional.
