DESCRIPTION

The Latin Percussion Black Box II Cajon builds on the best-selling LP Black Box Cajon with a handful of upgrades aimed at a better playing experience and stronger overall value. It keeps the straightforward, no-nonsense appeal of the original while adding refinements where they count most — the soundboard, the snare response, and the low end.

A Meranti soundboard is glued in place to increase tone, while the eco-friendly MDF body supplies the density and durability a working cajon needs. Two sets of internal snare wires sharpen up your slaps, and an integrated bass port helps the instrument project during live performances so your low notes carry past the front row.

Slightly larger than the original Black Box, the Black Box II measures 19" tall by 11-3/4" wide and deep. The signature all-black matte finish covers both body and playing surface for a slick, stage-ready look that's as clean visually as the cajon is straightforward to play.
