DESCRIPTION
Swift, deadly and affordable, Jackson JS Series guitars take an epic leap forward, making it easier than ever to get classic Jackson tone, looks and playability without breaking the bank. The JS Series Dinky Arch Top JS22 DKA brings the shred-ready formula to a price point that just about any player can reach.
This Natural Oil model pairs a mahogany body and arched top with a hand-rubbed oil finish, letting the grain show through. The bolt-on maple speed neck is built with graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint, which creates the angled back headstock and increases string tension behind the nut — no string trees or retainer bars needed. Up top you get a 12"-16" compound-radius amaranth fingerboard with white binding, 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays, so chording feels comfortable down low and bends run clean as you climb.
A pair of Jackson high-output humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets cranks out clear tone with plenty of girth, voiced for maximum overdrive and sustain. A three-position blade switch plus single volume and tone controls keeps the layout simple and fast — bridge, both, or neck, then dial it in.
All-black hardware ties the look together, including a 2-point synchronized fulcrum tremolo bridge with standard arm, Jackson sealed die-cast tuners, a Jackson neck plate and standard strap buttons. It's a straightforward, serious metal machine that delivers more for less.
