• Y-cable designed to split a stereo signal
• 3.5 mm TRS connector to dual RCA (phono) female jacks
• Black- and red-coded phono jacks identify left and right channels
• Adapts a stereo cable with phono plugs to a mini stereo phone jack
The Hosa YRA-154 is a simple, practical solution any time you need to get a stereo signal from a mini phone connection out to a pair of RCA phono cables. It splits a stereo signal into left and right, so you can tie a device with a 3.5 mm stereo output into gear that expects phono plugs.
Color coding takes the guesswork out of hookup: the black phono jack is left and the red phono jack is right, so you can patch things up quickly even in a dim studio or under stage lighting. It also works in the other direction, adapting a stereo cable terminated in phono plugs to a mini stereo phone jack.
Keep one in the gig bag, the studio drawer, or the rack case — it's the kind of adapter you only notice when you don't have it.
