DESCRIPTION
The Gretsch Streamliner Jet Club is a no-nonsense tone machine built to deliver serious performance at a price that won't clean out your gear fund. One HotWire high-output ceramic humbucker in the bridge, a Master Volume and Master Tone, and a compensated wrap-around bridge — that's the whole story, and it's all you need to crank out massive riffs and searing solos.
At the heart of the guitar is a mahogany body that delivers rich, present midrange with big lows and shimmering highs. Comfort contours, a belly cut and a rounded heel keep it from feeling boxy, so it sits and plays comfortably through long sets. The mahogany neck carries a faster, shallower Fast "C" profile with tapered shoulders — easy going for any player, and especially friendly for beginners or anyone with smaller hands.
Tuning stability comes from Gretsch's Pitch-Perfect head angle, which reduces string tension and keeps strings from sticking or slipping in the nut slots, paired with a GraphTech NuBone nut for consistent tone, added resonance and sustain. The 12"-radius bound Indian laurel fingerboard is dressed with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays.
The HotWire humbucker pairs ceramic magnets with high-output matched coils for bold overdriven tones that still clean up nicely, with vacuum wax-potting to keep squeal and interference down.
