The Gretsch Streamliner Jet Club 1 Pickup is a no-nonsense tone machine loaded with features that punch well above its price. A HotWire high-output ceramic humbucker in the bridge, a Fast "C" neck profile, the Pitch-Perfect head angle and a compensated wrap-around bridge add up to a guitar built for massive riffs and searing solos without breaking the bank.
At its core is a mahogany body that delivers rich, present mid-range with big lows and shimmering musical highs. Sculpted comfort contours, a belly cut and a rounded heel keep things balanced and ergonomic instead of boxy, so long sets and deep upper-fret runs stay easy. The mahogany neck uses a shallower, rounded "C" profile with tapered shoulders — comfortable for anyone, and especially friendly to beginners and players with smaller hands.
Tuning stability comes from the Pitch-Perfect head angle, which reduces string tension and keeps strings from sticking or slipping, paired with a GraphTech NuBone nut for consistent tone, added resonance and sustain. The 12"-radius bound Indian laurel fingerboard carries 22 medium jumbo frets and Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays.
Electronics are kept simple and effective: a single HotWire high-output ceramic humbucker at the bridge, wired to Master Volume and Master Tone. Ceramic magnets and matched high-output coils deliver power with clarity, from brilliant cleans to atomic overdrive, while vacuum wax-potting keeps noise and interference down. Finished in gloss Olive Drab with the distinctive Split-V headstock and chrome hardware, the Jet Club has classic Gretsch style and rock 'n' roll swagger.
