DESCRIPTION
Alive and loud, Electromatic Center Block guitars are built to deliver pure, powerful Gretsch tone at high volume. The G5622 Electromatic Center Block Double-Cut with V-Stoptail pairs a double-cutaway laminated maple body with a chambered spruce center block, so you get dynamic resonance and high-gain punch without the runaway feedback — and with a lighter, more comfortable feel than you'd expect from a guitar this size.
Dual Black Top Broad'Tron humbucking pickups supply chiming highs with articulate, dynamic response and plenty of sonic punch. The versatile control layout gives you a master volume with treble bleed circuit, master tone, individual pickup volume controls and a three-position toggle, so you can dial in balanced blends and keep your top end intact as you roll back the volume.
Playability details include a lower set maple neck with a thin "U" profile for easy upper-fret access, a 12"-radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, and a Graph Tech NuBone nut. An anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and Gretsch V-Stoptail handle tuning stability and sustain.
Classic Gretsch style comes through in the aged white binding with multi-ply purfling, nickel hardware, G-Arrow control knobs and a black Plexi pickguard with silver Gretsch and Electromatic logos, all finished in gloss Olive Metallic.
