The Gretsch G5420T Electromatic Classic Hollow Body Single-Cut with Bigsby delivers the '50s and '60s Gretsch sound and style that made the brand famous, in a no-nonsense package built for players ready to take the next step into a real Gretsch. Its laminated maple body carries vintage-inspired perimeters and refined arches, while all-new trestle block bracing increases rigidity and contact between the top and back to tame unwanted feedback.
That trestle block design does more than fight feedback — it gives the guitar a faster attack with more focus, snap and increased sustain. Paired with all-new FT-5E Filter'Tron pickups, the G5420T's voice explodes with full-bodied punch, classic chime and enhanced presence, clarity and note definition.
Playability comes courtesy of an all-new Classic "C"-shaped maple neck, set into the body and topped with a 12"-radius laurel fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays.
