DESCRIPTION
Lug inserts are one of those small parts nobody thinks about until a thread strips mid-gig and a tension rod spins freely. These Gibraltar inserts are designed for lugs that accept 6mm tension rods, making them an easy fix for stripped or missing hardware on your bass drum.
Each pack includes 12 inserts, so you have enough to service a full set of lug housings or keep spares in the hardware case. They're built to match most standard bass drum lug housings, dropping into place without modification.
Once installed, your tension rods bite properly again and you can dial in secure, even tensioning across the head — exactly the way the drum was meant to tune.
