DESCRIPTION
The American Professional HotShot Telecaster draws from more than seventy years of innovation, inspiration and evolution to meet the demands of today's working player. It keeps everything that makes a Tele a Tele, then adds the kind of refinements you notice the moment you pick it up.
The popular Deep "C" neck sports smooth rolled fingerboard edges, a "Super-Natural" satin finish and a newly sculpted neck heel for a supremely comfortable feel and easy upper-register access. New V-Mod III Telecaster single-coil pickups deliver the twang, snap and snarl that made the Tele famous, now more articulate than ever.
But the HotShot goes further. A specially placed V-Mod III Stratocaster single-coil in the middle position pairs with 5-way switching to unlock a whole new dimension of Fender tone — from classic Tele bite to glassy Strat-inspired middle and in-between voices, all in one instrument. ClassicGear Precision Potentiometers round it out with smooth, consistent control thanks to custom torque, precise resistance and a musical taper.
Add the new top-load/string-through bridge with compensated brass saddles, a bone nut and 22 narrow-tall frets, and you get instant familiarity with sonic versatility you'll feel and hear right away. Ships in a Deluxe Molded hardshell case.
