DESCRIPTION
One of Epiphone's most storied guitars, the Sheraton returns in a striking Natural finish. It's a semi-hollow instrument built from layered maple with a maple centerblock running through it, so you get the airy, resonant character of a thinline archtop without the feedback headaches when you push the volume.
The 22-fret mahogany neck carries a SlimTaper 60s C profile and a bound Indian laurel fingerboard dressed with block mother of pearl inlays and abalone triangles — the detail work the Sheraton has always been known for. The bound headstock continues the theme with a historic Epiphone logo and a mother of pearl Tree of Life inlay.
Epiphone ProBucker mini-humbuckers handle the voice. They cover a wide dynamic range and find a home in nearly any genre, from clean jazz comping to grittier blues and rock. Two volume and two tone controls with a 3-way toggle give you plenty of room to blend and shape the two pickups.
Gold hardware ties the whole thing together — gold pickup covers, gold top hat knobs with gold inserts, gold-plated Wilkinson tuners, an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and the vintage-styled Frequensator Split Trapeze tailpiece. A premium gig bag is included.
