DESCRIPTION
The Epiphone EB-3 four-string bass delivers big tone and fast playability thanks to a long-scale set-neck design, SG-style double-cutaway body, and a dual-pickup configuration. The mahogany body pairs with a heavy-duty fully adjustable bridge, a Sidewinder neck humbucker, and an NYT Bass mini-humbucker at the bridge for maximum sustain and a wide range of usable tones.
Mahogany gives the EB-3 exceptional sustain and a powerful, bassy voice, while the pair of humbucking pickups covers everything from warm and mellow to punchy and forward. Two volume and two tone controls let you blend and shape the pickups however the song needs it.
Where most SG-style basses used short-scale necks, the EB-3 runs a 34" long scale on a mahogany neck. The extra length lets low frequencies develop fully, giving you rock-solid punch and focus that you and your amp will appreciate — plus sweet sustain.
