DESCRIPTION

The Epiphone Hummingbird Tribute brings one of the most recognizable acoustics in music history within reach. Drawing on the heritage of the Gibson Hummingbird, it pairs timeless looks with a rich, resonant voice and smooth playability at a price that welcomes new players.

The square-shoulder dreadnought body that made the original famous is built here from layered mahogany back and sides with a select layered spruce top, delivering a warm, balanced sound that makes practice time rewarding. Antique ivory-colored single-ply binding outlines the top and back, and the laurel reverse belly bridge carries a compensated plastic saddle for accurate intonation along with ivory-colored bridge pins. The classic Hummingbird-shaped pickguard in tortoise-shell color finishes the picture.

Playability comes from a glued-in mahogany neck with a comfortable Rounded C profile set with a tapered dovetail joint. The laurel fingerboard feels smooth under the fingertips and is accented with antique ivory-colored binding, 20 frets, and dot inlays for easy navigation. Up top you get the beloved Kalamazoo headstock shape, dependable Epiphone Deluxe die-cast tuners, a plastic nut, and a two-ply truss rod cover engraved with "Tribute."

Choose from high-gloss Antique Natural, Ebony, or Heritage Cherry Sunburst, with Heritage Cherry Sunburst also offered for left-handed players. Epiphone offers an optional gig bag or hardshell case, sold separately.
