DESCRIPTION

Considered by many players to be the most flexible electric guitar ever designed, the ES-335 covers smooth jazz, gritty blues and soaring rock leads with equal confidence.
The construction follows the blueprint laid down when the ES-335 first arrived in 1958. The body is crafted from 5-ply layered maple and poplar with single-ply binding on the top and back, and a solid maple centerblock runs through it for increased sustain and improved feedback resistance. The glued-in mahogany neck carries a comfortable Rounded C profile and a bound rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid dot inlays for that unmistakable "dot neck" look. The 12-inch fretboard radius feels right whether you're bending strings up high or working first-position chords.
Up top, the Kalamazoo-style headstock is fitted with Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines with keystone buttons, and together with a Graph Tech nut they keep tuning stable set after set. The Epiphone logo and Gibson crown are inlaid in mother of pearl. A fully adjustable LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece handle precise intonation and lock in sustain.
Tone comes from a pair of Epiphone's acclaimed Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers with nickel covers, chosen individually or together via a three-way toggle. Each pickup gets its own volume and tone control, using premium CTS potentiometers for reliable, precise adjustments.
