Small and mighty. The PDP New Yorker is a punchy, packable kit built for gigging drummers, students, and anyone who prefers a smaller setup. Tight stages, small rehearsal rooms, apartment practice spaces — this compact 4-piece goes where a full-size kit can't.
Multi-ply poplar shells are at the heart of the New Yorker, delivering full, warm tone that works for virtually any style of music in any performance space. The 8x10" mounted tom, 12x13" floor tom, 5x14" snare, and 14x16" bass drum keep the footprint small without giving up the sound of a real kit.
Hardware is thoughtfully spec'd throughout. Low-mass Teardrop Mini-Turret lugs reduce shell tension so the shells can breathe, while True-Pitch tension rods offer 20% more threads per square inch for increased tuning control. A bass drum mount with a 10.5mm L-arm supports the mounted tom, and a bass drum lifter is included. Factory-fitted Remo heads mean the kit is gig-ready right out of the box, dressed here in a dazzling Black Onyx Sparkle finish.
