D'Addario brings its patented Humidipak Maintain system, powered by Boveda's two-way humidity control technology, to orchestral string instruments. Instead of just adding moisture like traditional humidifiers, Humidipak reads the environment inside your case and automatically adds or depletes moisture as necessary to hold a consistent 45-50% relative humidity — the range that keeps wood instruments stable.

That steady environment is what protects your instrument against cracks, warping, and open seams, whether you're dealing with dry winter heat or humid summer air. There's no water to add, nothing to refill, and no guesswork involved.

Setup takes seconds: place the Humidipak packet in the included pouch, put it inside your case, and keep the case closed. Note that Humidipak replacement packets must always be used with the provided containment pouch. Each packet is maintenance-free for three months.
