DESCRIPTION

D'Addario XL Nickel Wound strings are the benchmark other electric guitar strings get measured against, and players have been reaching for them since 1974. A high carbon steel core paired with nickel-plated steel wrap wire delivers a bright, versatile tone that sits well in just about any style you throw at it.

This Super Light Plus set splits the difference between a standard 9-gauge and a 10-gauge set. The .0095-.044 range gives you a little more substance under the fingers than 9s without the added stiffness of 10s, and it's a smart choice for balancing feel and tension across guitars with different scale lengths.

Like every D'Addario electric set, XL Nickel strings are built around the company's proprietary Hex-Core, which keeps intonation accurate, feel consistent from set to set, and durability reliable. They're drawn to exacting specifications at D'Addario's New York facility and packed in a recyclable VCI bag with a code you can register to earn Players Circle points.
