DESCRIPTION
The BOSS Katana-25 brings the renowned Katana sound down to a compact 25-watt amp built for home practice. Six unique amp characters and over 60 onboard BOSS effects give you a full palette to work with, all backed by the BOSS Tube Logic design philosophy that gives the amp the tone, feel, and dynamic response of a real tube rig.
A custom eight-inch speaker and a reactive analog power section work in harmony with the preamp and effects to produce rich bass, sweet high-end detail, and punchy dynamics. The optimized open-back cabinet delivers sound much bigger than the amp's footprint suggests, and the selectable Power Control lets you drop from full 25 watts to a half-watt mode for cranked-amp tones at apartment-friendly volumes.
Everything is easy to reach. The Tone Setting section recalls 20 dialed-in presets with 10 open slots for your own creations, and gain, volume, and three-band EQ controls let you shape tones fast. A tap tempo button syncs delay times and an onboard tuner is always a button press away.
Integrated Bluetooth pairs with your phone or tablet so you can stream songs and jam along, or connect wirelessly to the companion app for deep editing, automatic Tone Setting changes while YouTube lessons play, and access to shared sounds on BOSS Tone Exchange. A headphone output handles silent practice, and the class-compliant USB-C interface lets you record straight into a computer or mobile device. For new and returning players alike, the Katana-25 sounds great right out of the box.
