DESCRIPTION
Designed by the same R&D team behind Blackstar's professional amps, the ID:CORE V4 is built so that every guitarist — beginner or pro — gets a great playing experience from the very first time they plug in. This Limited Edition version delivers that same package in a distinctive British Racing Green finish.
At the heart of the amp is Blackstar's Super Wide Stereo design, pushing 10 watts through a pair of 3" Blackstar speakers for an immersive sound that's far bigger than the cabinet suggests. Six voices cover everything from pristine Clean Warm and Clean Bright through Crunch and Super Crunch to the two overdrive channels, while the patented ISF control lets you dial between tonal characters with a single knob. A bank of 4 delays, 4 modulations and 4 reverbs with tap tempo rounds out the sound, and six patch locations let you store what you create.
Connectivity is where the ID:CORE V4 really stretches its legs. Stream straight from your smartphone with a common TRRS cable, or plug into your computer via USB-C to record directly. The free Architect software unlocks CabRig Lite, Blackstar's advanced cabinet simulator, plus deep editing and patch management.
Power reduction down to 1 watt and the CabRig-equipped headphone output make it just as usable at bedroom volume as it is in the practice room, and the built-in tuner means you're always ready to play. Note that this model is not footswitchable and does not include Bluetooth connectivity.
