DESCRIPTION
The Bundy nickel flute was one of the most popular instruments made in the 60s, 70s and 80s.
This model features an off-set βGβ key and plateaus key touches throughout. Based on nickel, the instrument has a warm sound with an ease of playing designed for novice players. Top mounted screws are fashioned for easy adjustment when necessary. The model is in three distinct parts (Head joint, Body and Foot joint) following the Boehm System of Key mechanism. Common to all flutes of this type, the Foot joint has a low βCβ key and several preferred Trill keys.
Dating most likely from the late 70s to early 80s, this Bundy model is serial number 4333XX and was manufactured in the Elkhart, Indiana plant. Please understand that this is NOT a working instrument and needs mechanical adjustments. Some pads may be needed to be replaced according to our technician. We are selling this flute as an βAs-Isβ Repairman special offer. This means that the purchaser will have to have the flute adjusted by a qualified technician or, a person looking for a DIY project.
