DESCRIPTION

Designed for intermediate and returning musicians, the Yamaha Arius YDP-166 is a refined upright digital piano built around an expressive playing experience. Its 88-key Graded Hammer GrandTouch-E action recreates the feel of an acoustic piano, with synthetic ebony and ivory keytops and escapement for nuanced control and response.

At the heart of the YDP-166 is the Yamaha CFX Concert Grand piano voice, enhanced by VRM Lite technology that recreates the resonance of an acoustic grand. The result is a rich, immersive tone with the depth of a concert instrument, delivered through a two-speaker system with diffuser and 2 x 20W of amplification. Ten voices, 4 reverb types and 192-note polyphony give you plenty of room to explore.

Practice tools are built right in: 303 lessons, 50 classical songs, 10 voice demos, a metronome and a 2-track recorder that captures up to 11,000 notes. Bluetooth audio and MIDI plus USB connectivity let you connect to the Smart Pianist app, and two 1/4" headphone jacks make late-night sessions (or side-by-side lessons) easy.

The traditional upright cabinet in black brings a timeless look to any room, with a sliding key cover for protection and a built-in music rest for your sheet music.
