DESCRIPTION
Simple and elegant, the black Debut 100R from Blackstar is a versatile, no-frills, 2x12", 2-channel combo amp that delivers killer tones and intuitive usability, thanks in-part to its lightweight tubelike MOSFET preamp that saturates just like a real tube. Ideal for studio, stage, and home practice, the 100R sports 100W of power reduced to 5W for smaller spaces.
Blackstar has done away with unnecessary bells and whistles in favor of an amp that provides excellent tone and the most important features for a modern guitarist, including a series FX loop and headphone/line output with speaker emulation. You also get a bright switch on the clean channel and patented ISF tone control for shifting through decades of amp voicings.
In terms of actual speakers, the 100R sports two 12" custom-designed Blackstar Anthem 50 speakers. Plate and hall-style reverb is also on tap for sweetening your tone.
