DESCRIPTION
Big-body power meets modern acoustic design in the Ibanez AAD77M1E, an acoustic-electric built to deliver greater projection, wider dynamics and precise tonal control.
Part of the Advanced Acoustic series, it represents a ground-up redesign that pairs increased body volume with contemporary playability and a more responsive, performance-ready voice. Its Grand Dreadnought body is proportionally 5% larger than a traditional dreadnought and matched with a 25.6" scale length to produce strong projection, a firm low end and a wide dynamic range. A solid Sitka spruce top combined with flamed maple back and sides creates a bright, focused tone with defined mids and shimmering highs, while X-M bracing enhances responsiveness across both light and aggressive playing.
Designed for acoustic and amplified use, the AAD77M1E features an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp with Bass, Treble and Volume controls plus an onboard tuner. A Low Oval Grip okoume neck with a 1.7" nut width, 15.75" fretboard radius and 20 frets supports comfortable playability, while player-focused elements like the A.I.R.port soundhole and Advanced Access Cutaway improve feedback and upper-fret reach for live performance, recording and extended creative sessions.
