DESCRIPTION

Unleash uncompromising power and speed with the Ibanez RGA742EX, a 7-string beast designed for precision, aggression, and tonal clarity. Built for players who demand intensity from every note, the RGA742EX combines ergonomic design with sonic versatility—making it the perfect tool for modern metal, djent, and progressive shredding.

The RGA’s signature sleekly sculpted top offers seamless playability and allows your right hand to dig into chugging riffs or aggressive chord stabs without obstruction. Its Meranti body delivers a distinct tonal character—sweet highs and a scooped midrange—ideal for tight, articulate distortion tones.

Equipped with the ultra-fast Wizard II 3pc Maple neck, this guitar provides a thin, flat profile that supports high-speed techniques without sacrificing stability. The Jatoba fretboard enhances midrange richness with a crisp, articulate top end, while jumbo frets offer exceptional control for bends and single-note accuracy.

At the core of the RGA742EX's sound are Quantum humbuckers—designed for fast, low-end tracking and crystal-clear note separation even under high-gain conditions. From chunky rhythm work to searing leads, these pickups respond with depth and detail.

A rock-solid F107 bridge anchors the tone, enhancing sustain while allowing independent string height adjustments for pinpoint action customization.

Whether you're in the studio or on stage, the RGA742EX gives you the firepower and finesse to command the heaviest tones with surgical precision.
