DESCRIPTION
The Palatino WI-819A Alto Saxophone is a budget-conscious instrument designed specifically for beginning and early-intermediate students. Manufactured in China and subjected to inspection and final adjustment in the United States, this model is positioned to offer reliable playability and sound quality at an accessible price point.
Constructed from European bell brass and finished in polished gold lacquer, the WI-819A delivers a warm, round tone suitable for concert band and school jazz ensemble settings. The bore design follows a traditional student-alto profile, balancing ease of response with sufficient tonal depth to support developing embouchures and breath control.
The injection-molded keywork is engineered for consistency and durability, while pearloid key buttons and ergonomic key placement help younger players maintain comfort during extended practice sessions. Our featured Palatino Alto Saxophone has no Serial Number and was manufactured in China approximately ten years ago. The instrument shows modest use. There are light feather scratches throughout, but no dings, pings or dents. Some slight minor wear is noticeable on the rim of the bell.
