The Powerwerks PW505BT is a 50W self-contained personal PA system with a three-channel mixer that allows musicians and performers to plug in microphones, instruments, and music players. The powered tower offers two 5" mid/low drivers and a single 3.5" piezo driver for the high end.
The unit features two inputs with a choice of balanced XLR mic or unbalanced 1/4" line connectors. A third input is accessed via the 3.5mm input jack or from a wireless Bluetooth device. Stereo sources plugged in to this aux input are summed to mono. All three channels feature a volume knob along with high and low EQ controls—allowing you to get a quick and easy blend between your mic, instrument, and backing tracks from a music player or mobile device.
Additional inputs become available when you connect a second PW505 speaker (available separately) via the POWERLINK connections. POWERLINK uses standard XLR connectors to allow both speakers to share inputs, giving you a 100W, two-speaker, 6-channel PA system.
The PW505BT offers a frequency response of 60 Hz to 20 kHz. A 1/4" output allows you to add a subwoofer (available separately). When the subwoofer is connected, a crossover is engaged that rolls off frequencies below 150 Hz.
