Compact and powerful, the TC808 combines eight 8-inch long excursion high power woofers and a 1-inch horn into 800-watt powerhouse that needs to be heard to be believed. Although 8-inch drivers seem non-traditional for bass applications, the combination of eight speakers in a tuned box delivers incredible bottom end and unmatched responsiveness.

Solid plywood cabinet construction, all-metal grille, removable heavy-duty casters and all-metal flip handles ensure unmatched reliability over the long haul while an L-pad on the 1-inch horn ensures as much or as little high end horn as required can be dialed in to your tone.

Our forty-plus years of experience designing and building instrument and loudspeaker cabinets has taught us that MDF (medium density fiberboard) or particleboard construction isn't conducive to a long rattle-free life or a great bass tone, especially when played night after night at the volumes these cabinets are expected to produce. All Traynor bass cabinets are built using only a solid birch plywood cabinet construction ensuring maximum tone and long term reliability.

I have never been so happy with my gear since I switched to Traynor. This little cab has punch-clarity, power-handling and volume. Stated freq-response is 50Hz to 15kHz, but that is very conservative with a plus minus 3dB. It actually reproduces my low B nicely, so it must go down to about 30Hz. Poppin'? No problem! The little tweeter is adjustable and has some kind of built in limiter so it doesn't puke, even when we groove hot for three long sets. The package is deceptively small for the shear output it produces. The built in handle and tilt-back wheel design makes it a breeze to move. It fits in the trunk of my Toyota.

Got this to replace my trusted old SVT which is too big and heavy to move with today's gas prices. This is easier to move but has even more punch than the SVT. 36 inches high means it fits in a small car. You don't need an SUV or Van to move it. I am SO glad I found this thing! Our guitar player tried it day on a lark. He bought one too! The band looks and sound awesome, but we carry one half the weight we used to.
