Boasting signature Taylor playability, rich sound and tasteful aesthetics, the 200 Series offers players of all skill levels a gig-ready instrument at a price that accommodates working musicians.

Now, we’ve elevated their appeal with a trio of striking color treatments featuring transparent tops that showcase both color and wood grain. Featuring our versatile Grand Auditorium body crafted with backs and sides of layered Sapele. Features a top of solid mahogany, yielding a woody, warm response and a touch of natural compression to even out an aggressive attack, with a red finish on the back, sides and neck that highlights the wood grain.

Incorporating our cantilevered V-Class bracing, which coaxes out more volume, sustain and harmonic agreement between notes across the tonal spectrum. With the accommodating contours of the Grand Auditorium body, the slender Taylor neck profile and comfortable 1-11/16” nut width, players can expect a smooth feel with low action and easy fretting up the neck. Other appointments include a gloss-finish body with black binding, Small Diamond fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic with a matching single-ring rosette, a black pickguard and satin black tuning machines.
