The Ibanez RGT1221PB is one of the most recognizable and distinctive guitars in the Ibanez lineup. A pair of high-output DiMarzio Air Norton and The Tone Zone humbucker provides a huge sound with a broad dynamic range. The dyna-MIX 10 wiring system offers ten sonic variations. Activate coil-splitting with the mini switch, or power Tap mode for realistic single-coil sounds.
This sleek guitar has an American basswood body with a poplar burl top. Ibanez's thin, flat and fast Wizard III neck is made of maple and walnut. The ebony fingerboard has stainless steel frets with Premium Fret Edge Treatment for smooth, comfortable play without corrosion. The neck-through construction contributes to massive sustain and easy access to high notes up to the 24th fret.
The Gotoh tuners pair with a Mono-rail bridge for exceptional tuning stability, precise intonation adjustment and rock-solid reliability.
