The Ibanez RG j-custom RG8570CST is a distinctive electric guitar made by an elite group of highly skilled luthiers trained to produce instruments of uncompromised quality. The "j.custom" designation represents every advance in design and technology Ibanez has developed over the decades: the best woods, neck, fret treatments, pickups and top-quality hardware.

This instrument has an African mahogany body with an exotic maple top. The Super Wizard 5-piece maple/wenge neck has a Macassar ebony fretboard; jumbo frets receive the j.custom fret edge treatment for a smooth playing experience. Wide and tall, these frets offer good articulation when playing chords and clear tone when striking single notes. An All Access neck joint makes it easier to fret higher notes on the fingerboard.

Ibanez loads the RG8570CST with three DiMarzio pickups. The Tone Zone is a high-output humbucker with a wide dynamic range. The Air Norton humbucker is deep and warm, hot but not distorted. For single-coil sounds, Ibanez installs a True Velvet pickup in the middle position that's bright without being thin. It all adds up to a powerful collection on tones available on a single instrument.

Gotoh strap lock pins prevent the RG8570CST from falling not matter how wild your onstage antics. The Gotoh machine heads are precise and smooth; they pair with a Lo-Pro Edge bridge with a streamlined profile and recessed fine tuners. Locking studs contribute to tuning stability.
A hardshell case is included for extreme protection of this impressive Ibanez.
