DESCRIPTION
A popular choice of players for decades and a Bb clarinet that has truly stood the test of time is the Selmer Signet Special made of impeccable Granadilla wood. Featuring a modern conservatory key system and utilizing nickel-silver for its mechanism, the Signet is known for having a responsive playing experience and ergonomic feel. The use of Granadilla wood in this instruments construction gives a rich and harmonious tone which is preferred by advancing as well as professional musicians. This clarinet has a fixed Thumb Rest and traditional rings around the barrel and Bell. Our featured item is serial number 4113X and was made by Selmer in its Elkhart, Indiana factory approximately forty years ago. There are minor feather scratches throughout all body parts, but NO cracks, pings or dings. Our Technician has adjusted and conditioned the wood of this wonderful clarinet to General Playing Readiness. This clarinet comes with the original Hard-Shell case and has an upgraded Vandoren B45 Mouthpiece (there is visible discoloration of the exterior, but no other blemishes on the surface). If you are looking to upgrade to a wood clarinet or want a superior back-up instrument; look no further!
