One switch controls the frequency content of the midrange, while the other changes the high-frequency capture of the V Kick.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThanks to these switches, you can secure a rounded midrange with a softer high end, a scooped midrange with a defined high end—or the complete opposite: A scooped midrange with a softer high-end, or a round midrange with a softer high end. This allows you to use the mic with all sorts of styles of kick drum, from big-band jazz to aggressive metal. The same is true for basses.
