Sound Quality: | 10 | | Features: | 10 | | Ease of Use: | 10 | | Value: | 10 | | Reliability: | 10 | | Overall: | 10 | | | I have a new Martin D-35 that's about a year old now. Of all my other three Martin guitars, this is my outstanding favorite. It's tone and depth is far better than a standard new Martin D-28. It has a much larger voice and projection all accross the strings from bass to treble. It performs well with all kinds of playing style, wether chording, finger picking, and flat picking. It really shines when using Phosphor Bronze strings. It's worth the extra money to choose the D-35 over the D-28, though the D-28 is a fine guitar in it's own right. The D-35 has a personality all it's own. It's hard to beat.

She was the sweetest guitar I've ever played. The new ones are nice because of the 3-piece back. Not stiff like a new D-28 .
