The 5pc Roasted Maple/Walnut neck with Graphite reinforcement rods ensures stability, durability, and resistance to temperature changes. The Roasted Birdseye Maple fretboard, heat-treated for a balanced attack and rich sustain, adds an exotic touch to the instrument. With Medium Stainless Steel frets, the EHB1000 promises durability and longevity.
Crafted with an American Basswood body, this bass delivers a natural and flat tone, complemented by the powerful Bartolini® BH2 pickups. These dual-coil pickups provide a tight bottom-end, punchy mid-range, and smooth response. Navigate a vast tonal landscape using the Vari-mid 3-Band EQ, offering a variable mid-frequency control for a broad spectrum of sounds.
Experience precision tuning and stability with the MR5HS bridge, specially designed for EHB basses. The Ibanez custom headpieces and Teflon washers ensure smooth string adjustments. Engage the EQ bypass switch for precise tonal control and choose passive-only operation when desired.
The EHB1000 incorporates special features like an ergonomic body design, a slanted body back for better control, a comfortably rounded body edge, and a chambered body for a lightweight and balanced feel. Additional enhancements include a scooped cut on the body back for easier upper fret access and a detachable finger ramp for comfortable fingerpicking.
