DESCRIPTION
The Gretsch G5422G-12 Electromatic Classic is a 12-string electric guitar that brings a vintage feel with a sound that is truly one-of-a-kind!
The Filter’Tron pickups provide classic chime, jangle, and enhanced presence. The laminated maple body has vintage-style perimeters and refined arches, with oversized bound f-holes and multi-ply body binding. To keep the body rigid and reduce unwanted feedback, it features trestle block bracing, which also results in a faster attack with more snap, focus and sustain.
This beauty also has a Classic “C”-shaped maple neck topped with a 12”-radius laurel fingerboard, resulting in a more comfortable playing feel for improved playability and performance. The controls are versatile, and include a master volume with treble bleed circuit, master tone, individual pickup volume controls and a 3-position tone switch for custom tonal sculpting.
Additional features of this gorgeous guitar include a smaller late-'50s G6120 bound headstock, sealed die-cast tuning machines, GraphTech NuBone nut, historic pearloid Hump Block inlays, a secured Adjusto-Matic bridge and a Gretsch G-cutout tailpiece.
