This set of EXP77 Medium EXP Coated 80/20 Bronze Mandolin Strings from D'Addario delivers all the natural tone and feel of the company's best-selling uncoated mandolin gauge string set, with four times more string life, thanks to the proprietary construction and additional EXP coating.
The plain steel strings and hexagonal cores are made with the company's proprietary New York-manufactured, break-resistant, high-carbon steel wire, which provides increased strength and pitch stability. The 80/20 bronze wrap wire produces a bright sound with improved intonation and deep, projecting bottom end. The EXP77 set features loop ends for a universal fit.
