Vocal clarity and excellent bass response are hallmarks of the TX2M. This extremely loud sub-compact wedge is specifically designed for use on the floor and can be used with the baffle at either 50 or 40 for flexible application.
The proprietary B&C 12" woofer with 3" voice coil used in the TX2M provides extra high output at 80Hz, making the TX2M sound much larger than it appears. Advanced woofer cone technology uses an engineered mixture of cloth to paper to minimize unwanted resonances above the crossover point.
The smooth 2" high-frequency driver is mounted on a vertical format 40x60 degree horn (in the same manner as the TX8). Governed by the TX2P processor, the horn is combined with the woofer using very steep crossover slopes to minimize floor reflections for smoother, more feedback-resistant performance.
Speakon connectors are provided on each end of the enclosure for multi-cabinet chains, and two versions of the monitor, the TX2ML and TX2MR - right and left mirror image versions - are available to cover specific stage areas.
The TX2P analog processor has been engineered specifically for the TX2M to ensure maximum system performance. The TX2M comes with passive horn protection in case of accidental operation without the TX2P.
