I had purchased the WX5 last year and I'll tell you this once you have it you will never put it down. It is so alwsome, I use it on stage and the folks just think a lot of me for the way it handles the Alto sax sounds and many more, Please buy it you thank me for it. Carlman

This little unit coupled with the yamaha mono unit(vl70m) or the ROland XV 2020 is just what a sax player needs to add value to any band, especially if your band is sans keyboard! You also need a line conditioner, a portable rack, and a PHD to figure out the Roland Manual. The wx5 by itself is so deep with control and features, that it could takes months to truly learn all it can do. Pay careful attention to which AMP you go with. There are so many choices. The best combo so far that I have found is the 112 Rotary Speaker 80 watt amp. Neither the Yamaha or the Roland Midi can reproduce the Leslie sound very well. You will need an RTX unit or similar or a mechanical rotary AMP. I have not tried any of the Leslie traditional units because the PIN config is not adaptable to 1 4 inch very easily. I sure would like to try though! I highly recommend this unit for any Sax Player
