PX320:Casio PX320 Digital Piano at MusiciansBuy!CATEGORY:Digital pianos|Digital pianos for Home|Casio| RATING:
Decent, good piano sound (try hooking it up to a good pair of stereo monitor speakers)...rich and full bass sound on lower registers, delicate sounds on higher-registers.
A lot of features for its price (128-note polyphony, registration memory which is handy for gigs live performances, SD card storage, MIDI, LINE-OUT and USB connectivity).
Great value for my money at the sub-$700 price range.
It rivals Yamaha's DGX-620 YPG-625 in terms of functionality, weighted keys and good piano sound. Difference is, the PX-320 has a well-needed, 128-note polyphony and the YPG-625 only has 32-note polyphony.
88-key hammer-action weighted keys of medium-heavy resistance, I find it good for developing finger strength and near-acoustic piano feel.
I use my PX-320 also as MIDI controller both during gigs and in my home studio.
It could have been handy if Casio placed a pitch-bend wheel though and a larger LCD screen, but its feature-packed as it is and these are just my wishlist .
I recommend this product to anyone looking for a sub-$700 DP with good piano sound and a good set of features! -Rouel
