User Reviews of Yamaha P70 Digital Piano Black

yamaha thought of almost everything except a quarter inch jack to plug into an amp. you can adapt it down to the eighth inch and plug into phone jack, but susceptible to getting bent. how could they overlook something so elementary.

I was skeptical to order a weighted keyboard online. However, after reading the reviews of MusiciansBuy.com I went ahead with the order. I a very satisfied with this company. MusiciansBuy had the best price and I received the keyboard with a week of purchase, including 2 free gifts.

the P70 is nice sounding piano with realistic feel.. i feel this piano is very much worth the price.. it is very portable and easy to play. i also own a yamaha PF500 which is one of the top of the line digital pianos.. although the sounds and feel of the P70 cannot compare to the PF500 it is still a worthy and easily moved instrument.. i am happy with both pianos and they both have a place in my needs..

Right out of the box this thing sounded great. A no frills stage piano under 600.00 None of the other sounds mattered to me so couldnt really comment on them. Both grand piano sounds are great and the quick operation guide included makes it easy to navigate and get things set up. The only draw back is there is no 1 4 outs only 1 8 headphone outs and midi outs. Its easily solved just spend 3.00 and buy an adapter if you plan on gigging it. One last thing...this thing is supra light....almost half of my kurzweil sp88x. For 600.00 you cant go wrong with the P70 its got my vote with all the other keyboards in this range.
