The DP2 by APEX is a fantastic product. It features every microphone needed for live use and or recording. I use it in my home studio and have not hand any negative issues with it. Recording everything from Rock to Jazz, the DP2 picks up all the sounds of the drum kit and reproduces them in a reliable and true-sounding way. I strongly recommend this equipment to any home studio enthusiast or to any one in need of a low cost and very high quality mic kit for their drums. Sound Quality - 9 10: I gave the DP2 a 9 or 10 for sound quality only because we all know that $50000 studio can give off better sound, but all things being equal, this mic pack gives off GREAT sound. Features - 10 10: I gave it 10 on the features because it's everything really needed for a drum kit as well as other percussion instruments. the mic's are extremely versatile. Ease of Use - 10 10: It doesn't get complex in any way. Plug the mic's in, adjust the volumes accordingly and you're on your way. Value - 10 10: Consider the price, consider the quality and consider the ease of use - you can't do any better than this. The DP2 is here to meet your needs and provide an outstanding quality and it does so flawlessly. Reliability - 10 10: Take care of your equipment and it'll take care of you. Making sure to follow all the guidelines to proper care of the microphones will ensure that they stay working. Apex offers a guarantee that their mic's will work properly.
