What an amazing guitar. I have been playing and touring for over 30 years and as an accoustic guitar player I have been eternaly plagued by the poor sound in live shows. I have had all the best guitars and pickups, feedback busters, EQ's etc...acoustic DI's, amps, mics...well you know the rest. I am also an audio engineer and the problem is even worse when I know I can go to the board and fix it myself...but that never happens. So I buy this Godin guitar and all of a sudden my world changes. This guitar has solved all of my sound problems. No more feedback at high levels, no more screeching broken glass sound in a great rig. The guitar is easy to understand, the controls are friendly and the keyboard access opens up a whole new world of playing. The accoustic pickup is unbelievably clean and the humbucker is soft. Where the sound gets interesting is when you start to combine the two. A blend of accoustic electric running through an amp, a Fender Blues Deville 4 10 is the combination I have been looking for for a very long time. Don't think for one minute that it is just another wannabe accoustic, because it is not. It is a Bona-Fide hot sounding guitar with all of the characteristics of the accoustic without the disappointing sound of all the others(in live situations) Now when the kick drum kicks in I don't get kicked out, I am an important part of the sound and my confidence in my playing is way high, now that I can hear myself. The Multiacc Jazz is by far the best guitar I have ever owned, and after a few months of taming this baby I will take to the stage with a whole different attitude, and the sound man won't find me so annoying anymore. I won't let him get away with a poor line sound, I will whack him with a great stage sound that he needs only mic. When the sound man is hot, I will send him a line down the DI and he can mic the amp as well...wow that will be great. Hats off to Mr Godin... Thank you Chuck Labelle
