The new Casio CDP120 replaces the CDP100. The CDP120 offers 88 "scaled hammer action" keys which simulate the feel of an acoustic piano. It has five sounds ; grand piano,piano,electric piano,strings and harpsichord.The grand piano sound has been improved.Other features: the keyboard can be transposed down 6 semitones and up 5 semitones.You can layer two tones. It has stereo mini line outputs so that you can send the signal to an external sound system.It plays back in stereo. The 2 onboard speakers are 8 watts each.Casio has priced the CDP120 below its chief competitor, the Yamaha P95. However, the tonal quality is not as authentic as the Yamaha. All in all though, if this is your price point, the Casio CDP120 will give you excellent value. We have offered Casio digital pianos for several years now, and their quality and workmanship is really good.Breakdowns are rare to nill.properly looked after, it should last indefinitely. Don't be afraid to get yourself a CDP120 !
