Mark Knopfler Stratocaster ®

While it may not get you your money for nothing or your chicks for free, the Mark Knopfler Stratocaster® will help you conjure up the same tones that made the legendary Dire Straits guitarist and vocalist famous. Mark came to Fender® and asked us to create a guitar that utilizes designs from his favorite vintage Stratocaster guitars. Features a '57 Strat® guitar lightweight ash body and a vintage tinted ‘62 “C”-shape maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo frets. His unmistakable tone comes from three Texas Special™ single-coil Strat pickups and a five-way switch. Fender/Gotoh vintage tuners and an American vintage synchronized tremolo system round out this sultan of swing.
